The Christmas Fundraiser is an annual meeting where members of the Men of Holy Family gather at an off-site venue to simply enjoy one another’s company. This event is special in so many ways…
What makes this event so significant is it is truly the only time the men get together to socialize enjoying fellowship and camaraderie. We don’t discuss business like our regular monthly membership and committee meetings. And we’re not volunteering our time for an event sponsored by our ministry, any ministry or the church. And we hold this event during Christmas time, which is indeed a very special time of year.
The fundraiser is for members of the Men of Holy Family only to thank them for all of their hard work during the previous year’s events, activities and volunteer efforts. We enjoy good food with good friends and raise money to benefit one or several handpicked local charities by the raffling of prizes during the evening. Also, we include prayer and praise to Jesus (in the form of singing Happy Birthday to Jesus) and every year we’re honored to have our pastor and associate pastors join us as well.
